Job Description :

The vacancy is in the Sales & Marketing department of PED.

The incumbent will be responsible for:

  • Keeping an update of market intelligence relevant to the process industry.
  • Identifying new potential customers and establishing initial contact with them.
  • Making capabilities presentation to the clients.
  • Organizing shop surveys by new customers.
  • Generating enquiries & prioritizing them to ensure optimum use of available resources and to achieve best focus on best prospects.
  • Generating profitable orders.
  • Developing & maintaining a close working relationship with Domestic & International customers.
  • Developing working relationship with inter functional departments viz.
  • Design & Estimation, PMC and Manufacturing.
  • Ensuring timely collection of advances and final payments.
  • Supporting Sales Personnel of other territories, whenever required, through generating recommendations from customer offices located within the assigned territory.
  • Training & Development of subordinates on a continuous basis.
  • Identifying potential opportunities for Promotional & Publicity events.

Requisite Qualification :

  • Degree / Diploma in Mechanical / Metallurgy / Fabrication / Production

Requisite Experience :

  • 10 to12 years in Marketing of Industrial Products with special emphasis on fabricated critical equipments used in the process industry.

Preferred Experience :

  • Critical Process Equipment

Special Skills Required :

  • Product Knowledge of Heat Exchanger, Reactor & Vessels, Tower Internals & Trays.
  • In depth knowledge and understanding of design codes such as ASME, ADM, PD5500 and others.
  • Market Knowledge and clear understanding of business environment.
  • Communication & Presentation Skills.
  • Negotiation Skills.
  • Leadership.
