Job Description :
- Method study and time study for developing the time standards & bench marks.
- Development of fixtures and tooling for productivity enhancement in manufacturing shops.
- Study of drawings of coming projects; identify the special tools tackles & fixtures requirement for speedy execution of jobs.
- Design of required fixtures, tools and tackles and follow with PMC for their timely manufacturing.
- Cost reduction by implementing new / optimum technologies.
- Generation of MIS reports regarding shop efficiency using BaaN system.
- Generation of material requirement for fixture, new equipments etc.
- Follow up for execution of activities so that items are available prior to requirement on job.
Requisite Qualification :
- Diploma / Degree in Engineering (Mech. / Prod.)
Requisite Experience :
- Minimum 2 of experience in similar industry.
Preferred Experience :
- Relevant experience in Fabrication / Welding required as per International Codes like ASME, A D Merkblatter, and TEMA etc.
Special Skills Required :
- Knowledge about fabrication of Pressure vessels & Heat exchangers.
- Knowledge about machining operations.
- Proficiency in use of computers.
- Knowledge of BaaN.
- Communication skill.
- Knowledge of industrial engg activities.
