Job Description:

• The position is in the Design Department of Design & Estimation function.

The incumbent will be responsible for:

• Preparation and checking of Design calculations of EquipmentsHeat Exchangers and other Process Equipments according to national and international codes like ASME, TEMA, AD MERKBLATTER, PD 5500, etc.
• Preparation of detailed bill of materials and technical specifications for bought out items.
• Checking of fabrication drawings.
• Preparation of Material Take – Offs.
• Leading a team of engineers and draughts men.
• Ensuring quality and timeliness for MTO’s, drawings and after design documents.
• Co – Ordination and correspondence with client, Third party Inspection Agency, PE etc. for approval of design documents.

Qualification:

• B.E / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering

Experience:

• Minimum 5 Years experience in Fabrication Industry manufacturing of Heat Exchangers, Pressure Vessel and Columns.
• Well acquainted with international codes like ASME, TEMA, etc.

Special Skills Required:

• Computer Proficiency.
• Operating knowledge of BaaN.
• Operating knowledge of Autocad.
• Operating knowledge of PV Elite software.
