Job Description
The position is in the Manufacturing Department of Process Equipment Division.

The incumbent will be responsible for the following roles and responsibilities:

• Formulate and implement manufacturing strategy, which is inline with the divisional business strategy.
• To ensure the production as per plan and as per the requirement of various international codes like ASME, TEMA, A D MERKBLATTER, PRESSURE EQUIPMENT DIRECTIVE REQUIREMENTS, and CHINESE SQL REQUIREMENTS etc.
• To ensure productivity of each workmen and machine as per the set standard/ norm.
• To ensure discipline is maintained in shop as per company rule.
• To ensure all manufacturing expenses remain lower than the budget.
• To ensure safe practices are followed.
• Adopting new ways and means that translates in getting higher productivity, better quality
• products at lower cost.
• Maintaining good working environment, safe practices and good housekeeping.

Requisite Qualifications

Essential :

• Degree or Diploma in Mechanical / Production

Requisite Experience

Essential:

• 10 to 15 Years in Fabrication Industries dealing with Manufacturing of Heat Exchangers, Pressure Vessels, Columns, Reactors.

Preferred:

• Relevant experience in Fabrication / Welding required as per International Codes like ASME, A D Merkblatter, TEMA, Pressure Equipment Directive Requirements, Chinese SQL Requirements, experience of Manufacturing secondary reformers, PP reactors etc.
• Consistent track record of high on time delivery performance.

Special Skills Required:

• Knowledge of sequence of Manufacturing and processes, International codes and Procedures, Baan, ISO systems and procedures, Safety procedures and systems.
• Knowledge of Planning tools like Primavera, MS Projects, Planning andProject Management.
• Experience of people management and shop floor.
• Leadership Quality and Interpersonal Skills.
