Job Description:

The position is in the Design Department . The incumbent will be responsible for:

• Preparation and checking of Design calculations of Pressure Vessels, Heat Exchangers and other Process Equipments according to national and international codes like ASME, TEMA, AD MERKBLATTER, PD 5500, etc.
• Preparation of detailed bill of materials and technical specifications for bought out items.
• Checking of fabrication drawings.
• Preparation of Material Take - Offs.
• Leading a team of engineers and draughts men.
• Ensuring quality and timeliness for MTO’s, drawings and after design documents.
• Co – Ordination and correspondence with client, Third party Inspection Agency, PE etc. for approval of design documents.

Requisite Qualification:

Essential:

• Graduate in Mechanical Engineering

Preferred:

• Post Graduate in Mechanical Engineering

Requisite Experience:

Essential:

• Normal 0 MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 10+ Years in Fabrication Industries dealing with Design of Heat Exchangers, Pressure Vessels, Columns, Reactors.
• Relevant experience in Design required as per International Codes like ASME, A D Merkblatter, TEMA, Pressure Equipment Directive Requirements, Chinese SQL Requirements,

Special Skills Required:

• Operating knowledge of BaaN, Autocad, PV Elite Software
• Knowledge of sequence of Manufacturing and processes, International codes & Procedures, ISO systems & procedures
• Experience of people management
• Leadership Quality & Interpersonal Skills.
