Job Description :
- The position is in the Welding department of PED.
The incumbent will be responsible for:
- Preparation of Welding documents like WPS, WCS, WPQ
- Planning and Estimation of Welding Consumables.
- Sound Knowledge of Fabrication Codes like ASME, DIN, IBR.
- Knowledge of Heat Treatment
- Quality Management System for welding processes.
- Selection & Implementation of more productive process.
- Qualification of welding procedures
- Qualification of Welders/Welding Operators.
- Proficiency in welding process like SMAW, SAW, GTAW, FCAW, ESW
- Implementation of welding processes in the shop.
- Defect Analysis and Repair Planning.
- Welding related developmental work.
Essential Qualification:
- Degree / Diploma (Mech/Metallurgy/Production)
Essential Experience :
- Should have relevant experience of minimum 2 years in pressure vessels and fabrication industry
Preffered Exp. in Pressure Vessel Industry
Special Skills Required :
- Good Knowledge of welding processes, welding metallurgy
- Good Communication Skills.
- Computer Proficiency.
